Goopy Performance 2mm apex seals are a proven performance upgrade for compatible Mazda 13B rotary engines using 2mm apex-seal rotors.
 
Designed with strength and longevity in mind, Goopy apex seals are manufactured in the USA from the company's proprietary Goopy-Alloy and are suitable for applications ranging from standard engine rebuilds to high-performance turbocharged rotary builds.
 
The 2mm version is designed for compatible Mazda 13B rotors using the factory-style 2mm apex-seal slot.

Compatibility must ultimately be determined by the rotor apex-seal slot specification, not vehicle model alone.
 
APEX SEAL CLEARANCE
Correct apex-seal clearance is critical during rotary engine assembly.
Goopy recommends approximately 0.0015" clearance between the apex seal and rotor slot for both naturally aspirated and boosted applications.
Every rotor and apex-seal groove should be cleaned, inspected and accurately measured before final engine assembly.
Never assume that a used rotor remains within its original factory dimensions.

During a 13B engine rebuild, RSG recommends inspecting and measuring:
